Last month, Ukrainians joined the beta testing of a service that provides electronic extracts certifying the place of residence. What kind of document is this?

A residence register extract is a document confirming your place of residence.

Where might an extract be needed?
● when receiving public services
● when applying for a job
● wen opening a bank account
● whenever the place of residence needs to be confirmed

To obtain an extract in your smartphone, you need to update your app, find the Help and Extracts menu item in the Services section, and click on the Residence Register Extract. The last step is to select the Order Extract menu item and wait a few minutes until the application has been processed: http://bit.ly/3EDAQSf.

If information about you is found in the register, you will be able to download a PDF document containing the extract within the next 24 hours. The app may also be used to order an extract about the children’s place of residence. No printouts, scans or paper! Digitalization is easy and exciting!

The service has been introduced under the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and funded by Switzerland.
