East Europe Foundation, within the framework of the USAID/UK Dev project Supporting Ukraine’s Digital Transformation (DTA), together with the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine, announces a competition for the position of a tester for the development and implementation of the Integrated Information System “Geographic Information System Urban Planning Cadastre of the State Level” (hereinafter – GIS UPCS).

Start date: May 2024.

Term of engagement: 3 months.

Main responsibilities:

• support the team in identifying possible bugs and errors in the system;
• conduct regular functional and non-functional tests of the finished and new system functionality;
• conduct bug tracking and reporting in Confluence/Jira;
• communicate regularly with the team and project manager about system bugs and how to fix them;
• develop test documentation;
• develop test plans and test coverage;
• conduct manual testing of the information system and conduct bug tracking;
• conduct regular reporting on identified bugs;
• create lists of bugs, suggestions, and user requirements, and maintain their corresponding documentation;
• conduct regular testing of fixed errors;
• keep regular logs of incidents;
• participate in product testing throughout the entire development life cycle (SDLC);
• conduct regression testing of the product;
• participate in product testing before launch.

Requirements for the candidate:

• at least two (2) years of experience in functional and non-functional testing of web, desktop, mobile applications;
• knowledge of QA methodology, mechanisms and processes;
• experience in analyzing project documentation for business, user, and technical requirements;
• experience in developing test cases and checklists for testing new and off-the-shelf software functionality;
• experience with client-server architecture (REST);
• basic knowledge of SQL.
