Call for applications for the position of EGAP Communications Assistant

East Europe Foundation, within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program, announces a competition for the position of a Communications Assistant to implement communication projects and tasks.

Format: hybrid (online and offline).

Under the supervision of the EGAP Communications Coordinator and/or the East Europe Foundation Communications Manager, the Communications Assistant will:

  • prepare reports, press announcements/press releases, success stories, media content in various formats on key EGAP activities and results;
  • post information on the EGAP Foundation/Program’s website and social media;
  • prepare abstracts for speeches by representatives of the EGAP Program and the Foundation at public events;
  • work with a designer to create visual products (images for posts, onepages, infographics, posters, etc.);
  • coordinate the work with external contractors and partners: prepare terms of reference, search for contractors, follow-up on tasks, collect information, etc.;
  • collect data on key communication indicators (media monitoring data, social media statistics, etc.);
  • perform other tasks assigned by the Communications Manager/Communications Coordinator.

Qualification requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, public relations, or relevant field of study;
  • two years of experience in journalism / communications / advertising / SMM;
  • good communication skills (Ukrainian and English);
  • skills in Canva, PowerPoint, Keynote;
  • experience in communications in the public or government sector and experience in maintaining an Instagram profile will be an advantage.
