East Europe Foundation, in collaboration with the USAID/UK Dev project “Supporting Ukraine’s Digital Transformation” (DTA), is excited to announce an opening for the role of Communications Manager. This role will be pivotal in our joint projects with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

Start date: April 2024.

Employment: full-time.

Work format: Hybrid (online with occasional offline events).

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulating and executing communication strategies, plans, and campaigns.
• Ideating social media content, crafting a publication schedule, and preparing engaging content.
• Collaborating with a designer to create compelling visuals for social media posts.
• Crafting video scripts and catchy slogans.
• Developing informational materials for the project(s) (press releases, news, articles, fact sheets, talking points, etc.).
• Building and nurturing relationships with media outlets (event invitations, news pitches).
• Coordinating communication activities with government agencies and other project partners.
• Planning and hosting public events within the project(s) (press conferences, presentations, briefings, etc.).
• Preparing impactful presentations for speeches.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of communication campaigns.
• Conducting media monitoring.

Candidate Requirements:

• a minimum of two years of experience in communications (PR, marketing, SMM);
• proficiency in quickly drafting texts in Ukrainian and English;
• proven track record of successful communication campaigns for government and social projects;
• English proficiency at C1-C2 level.
