East Europe Foundation, within the framework of the USAID/UK Aid Project Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services (TAPAS), announces a competition for a post of Communications Expert for the e-Excise Project.

Expected Work Duration: until April 2024 (+/- 1 month).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a communications strategy, plan, information events and campaigns for the e-Excise Project.
• Create content (news, press releases, social media posts, success stories, brochures, presentations, talking points, and other communication materials) for the communications channels used by the TAPAS project and partners to disseminate information about the project’s deliverable and fulfillment of its goals and objectives.
• Cooperation with the media: generate news stories, prepare press materials (releases, columns, interviews, special projects).
• Provide communication support to the project team at all stages of project implementation; prepare talking points for speeches.
• Coordinate communication activities with government agencies and other project stakeholders.
• Conduct media monitoring.
• Coordinate work with external contractors for the production of communication and souvenir products: preparation of terms of reference, search for contractors, monitoring of tasks, collection of information, etc.
• Participate in the preparation of reporting documentation for donors.
• Perform other communication tasks.

Qualification Requirements:

• At least two (2) years of experience in communications, particularly in creating and implementing successful communications strategies and campaigns.
• Experience in working with the media.
• Experience working with government agencies, NGOs and international donor projects will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of graphic editing programs is preferable.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, international relations, or related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Ukrainian and English.
