East Europe Foundation announces a competition for the position of Development Specialist.

Development specialist will be working under the supervision of the Development and Monitoring and Evaluation Manager and will be supporting the Development Team in coordinating work processes and preparing and submitting project concepts and proposals. The specialist will be involved in all the processes related to submitting grant applications: finding the relevant opportunities, writing proposals, gathering the data and relevant documents, and submitting the developed applications.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Support and implementation of development work:
  • – monitoring of grant competitions and other funding opportunities;
  • – participation in project proposals development, including search and analysis of data, preparation of quality supporting documents in line with the deadlines;
  • – translation of short documents required for applications development;
  • – keeping the register of grant applications.
• Networking and cooperation:
  • – cooperation with program staff and other EEF departments within the process of coordination of project proposals development;
  • – cooperation with the representatives of civil society.
• Knowledge management:
  • – gathering data on the work processes, keeping databases;
  • – assistance in the development of reports and presentations.

Qualification requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent) in management, public administration, social sciences, economics, or another relevant field.
• At least a year of work experience in non-profit organizations or projects with donor funding.
• Proficiency in English at a level not lower than B1.
• Proficiency in MS Office instruments.
