Competition for the position of regional coordinator in the Kherson region

The International Charitable Organization “East Europe Foundation” within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian program “E-Governance for Accountability and Participation Program (EGAP)” announces a competition for the position of regional coordinator in the Kherson region.

The EGAP program, implemented by East Europe Foundation and Innovabridge Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, aims to use the latest information and communication technologies to improve the quality of governance, enhance interaction between the government and citizens, and promote social innovation in Ukraine.

Duties will include:

  • planning the Program’s activities in the region;
  • interaction with local governments, administrative service centers, military administrations and other authorities in the region, as well as NGOs, business and media representatives, and other organizations on the Program’s activities;
  • monitoring and reporting on the work of the Program’s regional partners;
  • preparing analytical materials on the Program’s work in the region;
  • organizing events in the region: meetings, roundtables, brainstorming sessions, conferences, etc;
  • presenting the Program and its achievements at events in the region;
  • work with texts: comments, press releases, success stories, invitations, materials on the Program’s activities.

Requirements for applicants:

  • awareness of digital transformation and e-democracy, administrative services, experience in using electronic services;
  • organizational skills and leadership;
  • understanding of the situation in the region, experience of interaction with government officials;
  • fluency in the Ukrainian language, literacy;
  • ability to contact and communicate with the media;
  • confident user of PCs and mobile devices;
  • mobility: ability to stay in touch, readiness for business trips;
  • knowledge of English will be a significant advantage (at least B1 level).
