Competition for the position of Program Assistant for assistance in the implementation of a project

East Europe Foundation is announcing a сompetition for the position of Program Assistant for assistance in the implementation of a project.

Start of employment: December 2024

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine

Full time position

Work format: mixed

Work assignments and requirements:

  • Daily assistance with implementing the program, particularly preparation of plans and events.
  • Seek and analyze data for research.
  • Collect data from activity within the framework of the project, use databases and registries.
  • Write technical assignments in coordination with managers of the project.
  • Check results of services provided, and works completed by employees.
  • Organize online and offline meetings.
  • Keep a work journal, particularly for follow ups after completed meetings.
  • Organize document flow for the project, particularly collecting, archiving, and regular renewal of documents.
  • Recieve / send / sign / scan / systemize documents, etc.
  • Check original documents from accounting.
  • Assist in organization of program events (meetings, conferences, round tables, educational events, work visits, and assignments), and provide material and technical support.
  • Communicate with potential providers and partners of the project.
  • Assist in coordination of drivers / vehicles, and postal deliveries.

Qualification requiremtns:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in management, government administration, social studies, economics, or another relevant field.
  • Minimum one year of experience in work of this profile.
  • Proficiency in the use of a PC and instruments MS Office and Google Drive.
  • Language proficiency (Ukrainian and English).
  • Strong English skills will be an advantage.
  • Experience in work in the community sector and/or in international organizations (will be an advantage).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to work with information and the ability to systemize it.
  • Being attentive to detail, responsible, pro-active.
  • High level of self-organization.
  • Desire to learn.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, and adapt to changes.
  • Moderation and diligence in performing work assignments.
