Contest for program assistant position

East Europe Foundation is announcing a contest for the position of program assistant for aiding in the realization of programs and projects connected to international advocacy.

Employment begins: August 2024

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine

Full time

Work format: mixed

Assignments and responsibilities:

  • daily assistance in the realization of the program, especially forming plans and events;
  • to seek and analyze information for research;
  • participate in the development and implementation of advocacy strategies;
  • collect data on the activity within the programs, create databases and registries;
  • maintain communication with shareholders;
  • communicate with potential suppliers and project partners;
  • organize online and offline meetings;
  • keep work records, in particular follow-up after meetings;
  • prepare technical tasks, oversee results of services provided and performed by contractors;
  • organize document flow of programs, namely collection, archiving and regular updating of documents;
  • receive / send / sign / scan / organize documents, etc.;
  • check primary accounting documents;
  • participate in organization of program events (conferences, round tables, education events, work visits, and assignments), ensure their financial and technical support, organize logistics and other contractors;
  • help coordinate drivers, modes of transportation, and mailings.

Qualification requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in international relations, international rights, international economy, or another equivalent field
  • At least one year experience in positions of project development or work as an expert.
  • Confident knowldege of using a personal computer, in particular Microsoft Office.
  • Good coominicational skills (fluent in Ukrainian and English languages)
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language. Fluency in other languages will be an advantage.
  • Work experience in the international field will be an advantage

  • Attention to detail, responsibility, and being proactive;
