Job Opportunity: Program Assistant at East Europe Foundation

East Europe Foundation is delighted to announce an opening for a Program Assistant. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the implementation of a project focused on digital transformation.

Start date: May 2024.

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine.

Employment Type: Full-time.

Work Format: Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily execution of the program, including logistics preparation and reporting.
  • Conduct research and analyze information.
  • Collect data on project activities, update databases and registers.
  • Write technical specifications in coordination with project managers.
  • Verify the results of services provided and work performed by contractors.
  • Organize both online and offline meetings.
  • Maintain work records, including follow-up after meetings.
  • Manage the project’s document flow, including collecting, archiving, and regularly updating documents.
  • Handle document-related tasks such as receiving, sending, signing, scanning, and organizing.
  • Verify primary accounting documents.
  • Assist in organizing and providing logistical support for program activities (meetings, conferences, round tables, training events, business visits, and business trips).
  • Communicate with potential suppliers and project partners.
  • Assist in coordinating drivers/vehicles and postal shipments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Management, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of specialized work experience.
  • Proficiency in PC, MS Office, and Google Drive tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in Ukrainian and English.
  • Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency.
  • Experience in the public sector and/or international organizations is a plus.
