Competition for the position of community manager for the CDTO Campus project

East Europe Foundation announces a competition for the position of community manager for the CDTO Campus project.

The competition is announced as part of the project “Effective public administration thanks to GovTech and transparency in Ukraine”, implemented by the federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Government.

The Community Manager plays a key role in building and maintaining an active community of students and alumni on the CDTO Campus. This person will be responsible for engaging participants, facilitating their interaction, and maintaining a high level of satisfaction in the learning process.

Main duties and tasks:

  • Development and support of the community: creation and management of forums, chat groups, and other platforms for discussions that will help participants exchange knowledge and experience.
  • Moderation of discussions: ensuring constructive dialogue in online formats, resolving conflicts, and protecting the ethics of communication.
  • Interaction with participants: answering questions, collecting feedback, and analyzing community needs for further improvement of the program.
  • Organization of online and offline events: webinars, Q&A sessions, workshops, informal meetings.
  • Cooperation with teachers, coordinators, communication, and technical team: ensuring the flow of important information in both directions.
  • Preparation and publication of content: the creation of newsletters, course updates, and successful stories of participants.
  • Work with the educational application.
  • Using analytical tools to monitor community activity and evaluate the effectiveness of proposed activities.

Candidate requirements:

  • Higher education in the field of communications, sociology, psychology or related disciplines.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a community manager or similar position, preferably in educational projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, and ability to write competently and clearly.
  • Experience in managing and moderating online communities.
  • Ability to work with digital tools for community management (eg Slack, WhatsApp community, Trello, Google one tools, CRM).
  • Proactivity, organization, and ability to work in a team and independently.
  • The ability to quickly respond to changes and adjust their actions to new requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Ukrainian language, English (preferably C1).
