In Kyiv for the "TogetherWeAct Fest"

Recently, we gathered in Kyiv for the “TogetherWeAct Fest”, which brought together public figures, experts, CSOs and media representatives, Kyiv residents, and guests of the capital, with the support of the @European Union in Ukraine. We are sharing photos from the event as a reminder of how we support each other and what an active community we have working together for Ukraine.

East Europe Foundation and its partners set up several locations on the Alley of CSOs:

  • State Emergency Service of Ukraine, not only works around the clock to eliminate the consequences of shelling and defusing mines but also actively educates people about mine safety and the work of deminers.
  • The Fishermen’s Club of Ukraine NGO, a relocated CSO from Kramatorsk that currently operates in more than 16 cities of Ukraine, offered anti-stress “Slap therapy” to adults and children all day long.
  • JurStab, which unites volunteer lawyers and recently presented an updated legal advice platform, held a legal quiz and spoke about the peculiarities of intellectual property for CSOs and COs
  • With the Pregnancy and Maternity Support Club “Lada” “, everyone practiced emotional training and did exercises to work through difficult emotions.

  • Renovation Map, a community of volunteers who care about the fate of architecture, spoke about the state of Kyiv’s cultural monuments
  • An expert from the CSO “Centre Corporate Social Responsibility Development” shared life hacks for building a career in uncertain times.
  • The All-Ukrainian Public CenterVolunteer” has launched an art workshop for children and adults.
  • We talked about Zrozumilo and shared interesting things and souvenirs of the platform.

There were also photo zones, acquaintances, many discussions, and possibly new partnerships: we are happy to be part of an active and motivated civil society in Ukraine. We are grateful to our partners with whom we can implement useful projects and to the European Union for their support!

The event was part of the Europe Day celebration and is part of the communication campaign “Together we act. Together we are Europe” about the EU’s activities to support civil society organizations and the media.
