Digitization on the March

On December 19, 2023, Bridget Brink, the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, unveiled a new digital transformation initiative for Ukraine. This five-year endeavor, to be executed by East Europe Foundation in collaboration with partners, is set to revolutionize Ukraine’s digital landscape.

The “Digital Transformation Activity” (DTA) project is designed to broaden Ukraine’s digital horizons, ensuring sustainable economic recovery, transparent reconstruction, and effective governance during and after the war.

The project is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and UK International Development (UK Dev).

The DTA project will be brought to life by a seasoned consortium of partners, led by the Eurasia Foundation. In addition to East Europe Foundation, consortium includes the Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO), the Institute of Analytics and Advocacy, the Kyiv School of Economics, Open Contracting Partnership, SocialBoost, Transparency International Ukraine, and Women in Digital Transformation.

To deliver tangible results, DTA will work hand-in-hand with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. The project will also collaborate with businesses, technology companies, local authorities, civil society organizations, educational institutions, and the citizens of Ukraine.
