Three grants for psychological support

In addition to equipping shelters and providing food and non-food supplies to IDPs, we, at East Europe Foundation, care greatly about the mental wellbeing of the Ukrainians. Recently, the Foundation provided three more grants to the following organizations:

  • Nongovernmental organization Civic Movement Women’s Power of Ukraine to provide psychological assistance to families of the armed forces personnel through the psychological support hotline. We expect the team to process over 600 hotline calls, run eight support groups, 23 one-on-one consultations, and six sessions for psychologists.
  • Kharkiv Regional Charitable Foundation Social Assistance Service will support families with children living in Kharkiv. The team will donate 500 food packages to those in need, as well as provide psychological assistance to 75 people.
  •  Nongovernmental organization Ray of Dnipro will help mothers and children who were evacuated to Dnipro city. The team will hold 36 group sessions for children and adults separately, as well as 108 individual consultations. As part of the Program, the organization will purchase books and coloring pages as calming activities.

Together with our partners, we support the internally displaced persons and victims of hostilities. We thank the Embassy of Denmark in Ukraine for supporting the Shelter Program.
