Multicookers, pans, sets of dishes, kettles, thermo cups – all of these items worth UAH 470 000 were passed to East Europe Foundation by the retail network “Eldorado.”  

All of the items were passed on to internally displaced Ukrainians who now live in the respective centers in Lviv, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Lutsk.  

For example, part of electronics and kitchen utensils came in handy in volunteer hub in the railway station of Lviv, where they now help provide people who arrive to the city from all parts of Ukraine or head abroad with warm food and drinks. Another part was transferred to the humanitarian headquarters of Frankivskyi Region Administration of Lviv City Council and is now being distributed among the shelters based in schools of the region.

In Chernivtsi, the humanitarian center of Chernivtsi City Council distributed the items among centers for internally displaced peoples which host at least 50-60 people.  

In Ivano-Frankivsk, some of the supplies were passed to the shelter “Rizni” which is based in an alternative school “Nevhamovni.” Plus, the supplies will also be provided to other refugee centers in the city. 

In Vinnytsia our partners from the NGO “Podilsk Agency for Regional Development” passed the utensils to four IDPs centers: in School #34, Vinnytsia University of Finance and Economics, Shopping Center Smile City, and the State Educational Institution “Vinnytsia Center for Vocational Education #1.”

Khmelnytskyi and Lutsk are next!
