Cooperation with French agency

The program’s target is to provide timely aid to people who were forced to leave their homes without a chance to take even the necessities. We are aiming to support the vulnerable social groups who stayed near the areas of hostilities as well. These are older adults, mothers with kids, and people who lost their jobs due to the full-scale russian attack.

East Europe Foundation has a substantial network of many public organizations from all oblasts of Ukraine and is constantly monitoring their needs. We will keep providing timely humanitarian aid to the centers for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and encourage the integration of IDPs to the host communities.

Today, the lives of many people are destroyed due to the war. The humanitarian crisis is evolving very fast. So we are grateful to our international partners, in particular to Fondation de France, for the help they provide to Ukraine.

In the aftermath of the Russian offensive in Ukraine in February 2022, the Fondation de France launched an appeal for funds to support the populations affected by the war, in Ukraine and in neighboring countries. More than 13 million euros have been collected at the end of June 2022.

A committee, made up of volunteer experts familiar with the area and/or the operation of the Fondation de France, has been set up: the Ukraine Solidarity Committee.

Also we would like to thank the representatives of the agency for their visit to Lviv, within which the representatives of our organization had a chance to get to know each other personally, and our international partners had a chance to communicate with Ukrainians who were forced to move to shelters in the West of Ukraine.
