East Europe Foundation Report 2023

Our team, the support of international and Ukrainian organizations, and our partner network of NGOs allowed us to respond to new challenges in 2022-2023. continue our operations, and expand our activities. This report is proof of our commitment, flexibility, and readiness to act for the future of Ukraine.  

These are just some key indicators recorded in the summary of East Europe Foundation’s activities from January 2022 to May 23:  

  • More than 148 thousand people received humanitarian support (psychosocial support, shelter, and/or non-food sets);  
  • Over 578 thousand people underwent training in civilian and mine safety;  
  • 654 small and micro-entrepreneurs received grants, advisory help, and training opportunities;  
  • 137 educational institutions were equipped with shelters.  

Key program areas:  

  • humanitarian aid and civilian security programs launched to support IDPs, hospitals, and de-occupied territories;  
  • educational and security programs, including mine safety training, equipping shelters in academic institutions, and developing online courses;  
  • civil society development via grant support and acceleration programs;  
  • development and implementation of digital solutions at the national and local levels.
