The award ceremony took place on December 3 in Kyiv. The «Partnership for Sustainability Award 2024» gold prizewas received by Victor Liakh, President of East Europe Foundation.
«The children studying in schools today will shape Ukraine’s economic future in ten years. We must ensure they receive quality education – education for every child», he said.
STEM classrooms provide students with hands-on experience, allowing them to conduct experiments, solve real-world technical challenges, and work with cutting-edge equipment. Students engage in robotics, programming, and 3D printing, bridging the gap between learning and real-world technological achievements.
We are creating specialized learning spaces equipped with modern tools and technologies to enable students to practice STEM disciplines. So far, STEM classrooms have been established in 11 Ukrainian schools, while another 21 schools have received robotics and 3D modeling equipment.
The project is implemented as part of the EGAP Program, implemented by East Europe Foundation with the support of Switzerland.
