This project is being carried out by East Europe Foundation and Switzerland’s Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA), which operates in Ukraine through the Swiss Cooperation Organization (SCO). The beneficiary is the Gogolfest Festival of Contemporary Art, a community organization.
The term of implementation is June 2021 to December 2022.
Gogolfest is an international multidisciplinary festival of contemporary art that exhibits and brings together in a single timeframe contemporary theater, music, cinema, performance, education, and children’s programs.
Launched in 2007, Gogolfest placed in the top five in Europe at the 2019-2020 EFFE Awards. By expanding its activities both among Ukrainian cities and outside Ukraine, the Gogolfest team wants to develop its management skills and organizational capacity using contemporary approaches and instruments.
The purpose of this project by the Foundation is to provide organizational support for Gogolfest to strengthen its capacity to undertake projects, to provide services in a timely and transparent manner, and to achieve long-term sustainability.
