According to a sociological study, the number of officially registered charitable organizations in Ukraine grew by almost eight times in 2022. More than 60% of nonprofit organizations founded since Russia’s full-scale invasion focused on helping people affected by the war or displaced.
These statistics perfectly illustrate how important the topic of civil society is in Ukraine. From the outset of the Big War, our Foundation contributed in every possible way to supporting civil society and strengthening its capabilities.
In partnership with our experts, we have developed an online course Together We Are Stronger: Five Steps to Success of a Public Organization, which is already available on the Zrozumilo! Online Educational Platform.
This course is designed to help nongovernmental organizations build their capacity, raise professionalism and become more recognizable and active in helping their communities.
Among the course speakers:
In eight lectures, they will tell you how to:
Attract even more support from donors and partners;
Ensure the organization sustainability;
Raise funds for administrative expenses;
Avoid tax risks when providing humanitarian assistance;
Communicate about your work in a way that potential donors contact you.
We created the course primarily for community activists and civil society representatives. It will also be useful to people who plan to create their own public organization in the future.
