Winners of the Grant Competition Announced

East Europe Foundation announces the winners of the grant competition implemented under the third phase of the “Capable and Resistant” program, supported by Switzerland.

17 civil society organizations (hereinafter – CSOs) received grants for projects providing services to war-affected individuals, including vulnerable categories of the civilian population: women, internally displaced persons (hereinafter – IDPs), the elderly, people with disabilities, veterans, family members of military personnel, representatives of ethnic minorities, LGBTQI+ communities, children, and others.

Below is the full list of winning organizations and a brief description of the initiatives they will implement:

  • Fund “Vilni” with the project “Path to Recovery: Psychosocial Support for Veterans and Their Family Members in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast”
  • NGO “Triangle” with the project “Triangle of Support: Rights, Recovery, Resilience”
  • NGO “DOSVITA” with the project “Comprehensive Psychosocial Support for Veterans and Their Families through Inclusive Recovery Retreats in the Carpathians”
  • NGO “PRAVO” with the project “Strong Together: A Space for Support and Development”
  • CO “CF “I am Mariupol” with the project “Career Opportunities and Employment as a Method of Social Integration and Rehabilitation for IDPs”
  • Charity Fund “Sheptytsky Hospital” (CFSH) with the project “Space of Dignity and Support: Comprehensive Services for IDP Women in Ternopil Oblast”
  • NGO “Child Development Center ‘Skhodynka v maybutnye'” with the project “New Life – A Space for Day Care and Developmental Support for Children with Special Educational Needs, and Mental Health Support for Their Families”
  • NGO “Women in Tech Ukraine” with the project “Choose Your Future”
  • CF “City of Goodness” with the project “Butterfly House”
  • NGO “Rom Art” with the project “Workshop of Success: A Comprehensive Approach to Professional Development and Economic Integration of the Roma Community, IDPs, and Veterans through Woodworking and Entrepreneurship”
  • CO “CF ‘SOS CIVIL DEFENSE HEADQUARTERS'” with the project “Siaylyk Center: A Space of Resilience and Development for Children with ASD and Their Families”
  • NGO “NASKRIZ” with the project “Resilience Together: Psycho-Emotional Support for Wives of Military Personnel and Veterans”
  • CF “Sincere heart” with the project “Recovery Camp”
  • CO “Walnut House Fund” with the project “Resilience for the Resilient: Communities for Women”
  • PO “BLUE BIRD” with the project “Comprehensive Psychosocial Rehabilitation for People Who Have Experienced Captivity”
