Join us on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 17:00 at the Kyiv School of Economics for an enlightening session with Oleksandra Matviychuk, a renowned human rights activist and the head of the Center for Civil Liberties, who was honored with the Nobel Peace Prize in 2022. This session marks the launch of our complimentary online course “History of Ukrainian Civil Society”, available on the Zrozumilo! platform (zrozumilo.in.ua). This initiative is a collaborative effort with East Europe Foundation and the Ukrainian Institute, generously supported by the European Union.

The lecturer will share insights about the Ukrainian civil society in the third year of the great war, the challenges that active community members may face, and strategies for maintaining unity, resilience, and effectiveness. She will also discuss how to effectively communicate with international audiences and utilize various platforms to keep Ukraine on the global agenda.
Oleksandra Matviychuk, along with a team of Ukrainian and international experts in philosophy, history, law, social sciences, political science, and journalism, has authored the course “History of Ukrainian Civil Society”.
