Available funds received within the Shelter Project allowed to launch a cooperation and finance of an NGO Центр розвитку ініціатив “ІнСорс”.

Since the beginning of the war, “InSource” has continued to work at the local level, refocusing its activities on humanitarian needs and assistance in finding housing for internally displaced persons arriving in Ternopil and Khmelnytsky oblasts.

During the first weeks of the war, the IDPs were sheltered by locals and in empty habitable houses. However, the flow of people in need of temporary shelter is constantly growing. To this end the NGO “InSource” is currently working on the creation of temporary shelters which resemble the needs, are safe and comfortable. In particular, the team of the organization together with the partner NGO “Skhid ta Zakhid Yedyni” work on the adaptation of one of such shelters in Ternopil oblast (on the capture photo). 

This initiative received support from East Europe Foundation within the Shelter Project, thus enabling to provide a Temporary accomodation center in Ternopil oblast with the necessary household appliances and create the most comfortable living conditions for internally displaced persons. 

Thus, this is the sixth partner NGO to implement the Shelter project in the different regions of Ukraine and   effectively provide humanitarian assistance to displaced people locally by increasing the comfort of living through the purchase of necessary equipment etc.
