Trained partners at a training for NGOs

A training aimed at enhancing organizational capacity took place in Kyiv for 11 partner organizations of East Europe Foundation within the Institutional Support Program as a part of the “Phoenix” Project, funded by the European Union.

Over the course of three training days, participants delved into topics covering communications, financial and administrative management, and IT solutions.

The sessions commenced with financial and administrative matters, discussing best practices in managing civil society organizations. Trainer Larysa Shkurka, a certified auditor, expert, and consultant in organizational development and strategic planning, also covered aspects of providing humanitarian aid and charitable activities.

The following day focused on communication strategy and planning, media engagement, social media management, preparing for public speaking, and stakeholder engagement. Experts from UK Comms, Uliana Kolodii and Julia Begletsova, shared practical advice for enhancing communications.

Additionally, discussions were held on digital security, including information encryption, document management in Ukraine, password management, and internet privacy. Expert Yuriy Antoshchuk provided specific tools and practical advice on this topic.
