Over three years, the Mriia educational ecosystem has become part of the daily routine for one in three Ukrainian schools. Today, it encompasses over 4,300 general secondary education institutions across all regions of Ukraine. Its users include 640,000 teachers, pupils, and parents.
Along with the development of Ukrainian education, Mriia is also evolving — becoming more flexible and focused on the needs of the child. Its mission is to inspire learning and help children unlock their potential.
Mriia brings together key school processes: grading, homework, lesson topics, and attendance.

Accessibility remains an important advantage of Mriia: all its features are free of charge for users. Connecting to the ecosystem and using it do not require funding from the budgets of educational institutions or hromadas.

Mriia also helps Ukrainian children stay within the national educational space regardless of their location. The ecosystem is used to educate children abroad, in frontline regions, and in temporarily occupied territories, preserving the continuity of the educational process and the connection between teachers, pupils, and parents.
‘Today, Mriia is already streamlining daily school operations. However, the next step is more ambitious — to help every child see their own learning path. To understand what they excel at, what truly interests them, and where to move forward. Over time, the system will be able to suggest relevant content, clubs, and other developmental opportunities — gradually building an individual educational trajectory for every child,‘ noted Oleksandr Pavlenko, Co-Lead of Mriia.
Mriia encompasses much more than recording grades and maintaining an electronic register. It features an extracurricular education section, a library of educational content from learning platforms and socially responsible businesses, as well as AI-powered tools. One such tool is a test generator, which enables teachers to prepare tasks for independent study and homework faster. Since the start of the pilot, 60,000 unique tasks have already been created with its help.

It is today’s school pupils who will later create new technologies and companies, and develop culture, the economy, and the state. That is why Mriia helps children see their progress, understand their strengths, and make more confident choices about where to move next,‘ noted Maksym Iliukhin, Co-Lead of Mriia.
The next step will be testing Ukraine’s first national educational gamification system. In autumn, the app will introduce an in-app currency called ‘mriiky’, daily educational quizzes called ‘Kmitlyvky’, and a rewards store.
Pupils will be able to earn ‘mriiky’ for learning activity and progress, and later exchange them for books, cinema tickets, masterclasses, educational sessions, and other rewards from partners. This will help children better see the results of their efforts, bringing more playfulness, curiosity, and a sense of progress to learning.

Mriia already encompasses pre-school education as well. Pre-school tools are currently being tested in 40 kindergartens across six regions of Ukraine. In the future, the ecosystem will accompany a person through various stages of learning: from their first years in kindergarten to school, university, and mastering new skills in adult life.
