A new course for the civil society sector has launched on the Zrozumilo! Educational Online Platform.
“Organizational Development Recipes for Civil Society Organizations” explores institutional strengthening and project management improvements that enhance the capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs).
Organizational development is not a one-time change initiative or a standalone strategic document. Rather, it is an ongoing process that helps CSOs become stronger, more effective, and more resilient. Systematically improving internal processes, management practices, and teams enables organizations to respond to challenges successfully, deliver high-quality projects, and achieve long-term results.
This course is designed to help civil society professionals better understand the principles of organizational development and learn how to apply them in their daily work.

The course also places special emphasis on improving project management processes, one of the core areas of organizational development. A systematic approach to project management helps organizations enhance the quality of their work, ensure the sustainability of results, make more effective use of resources, and strengthen the trust of partners and donors. East Europe Foundation’s experience serves as a practical example of advancing project management practices and demonstrates the important role CSOs play in promoting modern standards in this field.
The course consists of nine lectures and combines theoretical knowledge, practical examples, and real-world experience in improving organizational processes. It provides a holistic understanding of organizational development and offers practical solutions to help strengthen organizational capacity.
Course Speakers
The course is designed for leaders and staff of civil society organizations, project managers, members of management teams, organizational development consultants, and anyone interested in systematically developing their organization, improving management practices, and achieving sustainable results.
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate worth 0.2 ECTS credits (six academic hours), which may be counted toward self-directed professional learning.
