The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine launches a Dashboard to help find and visualise data on social service providers. This is a huge leap towards greater transparency and accessibility of information on social services.
The Dashboard provides Ukrainians with convenient and open access to this information. In particular, users can find data on service providers by using filters such as name, address, phone number, website, region, district, territorial community, type of service, etc.
Thus, the key benefit of the Dashboard for its users is that it makes finding the closest social service provider seamless.
And NGOs providing social support to the population benefit from this tool through optimized search for information on service providers.
Data on social services is stored in the Register of Providers and Recipients of Social Care of the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere.
The Register enhances transparency of social service delivery and makes it easier for social protection authorities to add new providers to the system. Registers and social services providers no longer need to send such data to the Ministry of Social Policy. Instead, registers can enter information on social service providers to the Register on their own.
The Register was developed by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine with the support of the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program implemented by the East Europe Foundation.
