A new service for individual entrepreneurs has become available on the Diia portal. Ukrainians can now close their business automatically and in a matter of seconds.

‘We continue to simplify communication with the state so that all state services are simple and convenient. The fastest business registration in the world is already there on the Diia portal. This revolutionary service allows you to register a business in just two seconds. It is fully automatic and doesn’t require a state registrar. More than 334.2 thousand Ukrainians have used the service. From now on, automatic liquidation of individual entrepreneurs is available, too. We have eliminated the human factor from the process, so there is no longer a need to wait for the application to be processed manually’, said Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister for Innovations, Development of Education, Science & Technologies – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

The service of closing a business for individual entrepreneurs is automatic. Previously, you had to fill out an application manually and send it to the registrar for processing. Now, you can terminate your entrepreneurial activity without human intervention. Your information will be automatically pulled from the Unified State Register (USR). Eliminating the human factor not only speeds up the service but also increases its quality: it eradicates corruption and possible errors in the application.

The service is available for business owners who have the taxpayer’s account card number or use passport data instead of a taxpayer card. The procedure is as follows:

1. Sign in on the Diia portal
2. Select a service – Automatic closing of business for individual entrepreneurs
3. Click Submit
4. After the necessary data is pulled from the USR, check if it is correct
5. Sign the application with your electronic signature of the individual entrepreneur or Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) of the natural person
6. Check the status of the application in the Services – Ordered services section.

Data on closing business for individual entrepreneurs is automatically sent to the USR and tax office at the place of registration.

The service is implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine with the support of the EGAP Program implemented by East Europe Foundation with the support of Switzerland.
