The Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program handed over Starlink adapters to the Vinnytsia City Council and the Regional Military Administration.
These six ‘devices’ will support contingency communication for government authorities as well as for certain areas of the Vinnytsia Oblast that require it.
Adapters allow networks of any institution to be hooked up to the terminal via a standard RJ-45 connector. In other words, not only users within the Wi-Fi coverage area will be able to use the connection, but also every indoor worker connected to the intranet.
‘Adapters are vital, but, unfortunately, very scarce. Now we will have kits at all designated stations. We thank the Eastern Europe Foundation and the EGAP Programme for systemic collaboration!’ says Andrii Kavunets, CDTO of the Vinnytsia Oblast Military Administration.
We would like to remind you that the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program implements digital tools and services in the Vinnytsia, Volyn, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk Oblasts. Recently, the Chernihiv Oblast has become our new target area.
