Contest for the position Ecosystem Development Lead

East Europe Foundation is announcing a contest for the position of “Ecosystem Development Lead” for the implemmentation of the program led by the organization.

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine

Application deadline: December 26, 2025

Work format: hybrid

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Development of the EdTech ecosystem in Ukraine:
    • – Formulate a map of key stakeholders: schools, communities, EdTech companies, universities, NGOs, investors.
    • – To identify points of synergy between different participants and create sustainable mechanisms of cooperation.
  • Partnerships and coordination:
    • – To initiate, build and support partnerships at the national and international levels.
    • – To hold meetings, facilitations, working groups.
    • – To involve partners in the Center’s programs and solution development.
  • Capacity building and support of schools/communities:
    • – To organize training programs, workshops, mentoring formats for school directors, educational teams and local departments.
    • – To facilitate adaptation by schools and communities to innovations and digital solutions.
  • Localization and scaling of innovations:
    • – To work with technology solution teams to adapt products to the Ukrainian educational context.
    • – Develop recommendations for successful pilot programs and to expand upon them.
  • Communication and representation:
    • – Represent the Center at events, working groups, communities.
    • – Develop easy to understand explanations of how innovations work for various audiences.

Qualification of experience:

  • Higher education in social sciences, public policy, education and educational management, management, innovation, communications, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in educational innovation, EdTech, digital transformation, community work, or ecosystem development/partnerships.
  • Experience in organizing interactions between stakeholders: schools, local governments, EdTech companies, universities, donors, civil society organizations.
  • Practical experience in creating or scaling educational programs/initiatives that require coordination of many participants.
  • Software proficiency: Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides); Communication tools (Slack, Zoom, Meets).
  • Basic understanding of EdTech tools and digital platforms. Tools for organizing events/activities (Canva, Eventbrite or similar).
  • Experience in project work in complex environments: regular communication, facilitation of working groups, integration of solutions into real educational contexts.
  • High-level English proficiency – for interaction with international partners.
