eExcise system testing launched

As of 1 January 2026, large-scale testing of the eExcise system has begun. This innovative tool will replace outdated paper stamps with electronic ones featuring DataMatrix codes, eliminating human error and corruption risks.

To ensure the transition is as comfortable and stress-free as possible, a detailed Testing Plan has been developed, which will run until October 12, 2026. This is a safe space for businesses to set up all processes without any fines or legal consequences.

What the Testing Plan offers for entrepreneurs:

🔹 Nearly 10 months for the gradual configuration of internal systems
🔹 The opportunity to test the entire cycle — from import and production to scanning the code at the store checkout
🔹 Test labeling is intended exclusively for identifying and correcting errors
🔹 The system will automatically interact with other state databases for accuracy and speed of information exchange.

Thanks to eExcise, every Ukrainian will be able to instantly verify the legality of alcohol or tobacco products via the Diia app, while the state will see a transparent journey of the product — from the manufacturer directly to the store shelf.
