Registering Dormitory Residence via Diia

Students can now register their dormitory residence through Diia — no queues at the ASC, no redundant paperwork.

Previously, you had to sign a dormitory agreement, deregister from your previous address, gather a full set of documents, and visit the ASC in person. It was time-consuming and exhausting.

This new service was developed with support from the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program, implemented by East Europe Foundation.

Now, registering your dormitory residence takes just a few clicks on the Diia portal:

  • Log in to the Diia portal;
  • In your account, select: “Services” → “Change of residence”;
  • Specify the educational institution and dormitory where you wish to register, and verify your personal data;
  • If applicable, enter the contract number and date of signing;
  • Sign the application using Diia.Signature or QES.

Once the application is approved by an authorized university representative, pay for the service and await the decision from the residence registration authority.

Who can use the service?

Non-military students who possess an RNOKPP (identification code) and have signed a dormitory agreement.

The first group of educational institutions has already been technically integrated into the service. You can view the list here. More institutions will be added gradually.

The project is being implemented by the EGAP Program, led by East Europe Foundation with support from the Swiss government, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Migration Service of Ukraine, and the State Enterprise Document.
