Horton Beebe-Center
President Emeritus of Eurasia Foundation and Vice President for Strategic Development at Kyiv School of Economics

Horton Beebe-Center currently leads strategic development at the Kyiv School of Economics and serves as President Emeritus of the Eurasia Foundation, where he worked from 1993 to 2019.

As Eurasia Foundation’s first field officer, he rose to the position of President in 2006 and played a key role in establishing several pioneering institutions, including the East Europe Foundation. He was also closely involved in the design and launch of Eurasia Foundation’s locally registered institutions in Moldova, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia.

In 2022, Beebe-Center cofounded the Ukraine Youth Action Network—a nonprofit that helps young Ukrainians whose lives have been disrupted by war connect with peers in the United States, build friendships, and collaborate on initiatives to support Ukraine.

He holds a B.A. in Soviet Studies from Brown University and an M.A. in Russian Studies from Harvard University.
