Grants to Support Recovery in Sumy Oblast

East Europe Foundation invites civil society organizations to participate in the grant competition under the project “Capable and Resistant: Sumy.”

The objective of the competition is to support CSO-led projects in the areas of healthcare, education, housing/shelters (including repairs) in territorial communities of Sumy region affected by the war.

Grants ranging from UAH 1,200,000 to UAH 1,700,000 will be provided for the implementation of projects lasting 6 to 8 months. Applications are accepted exclusively through the East Europe Foundation Grant Portal until October 30, 2025, 16:00.

Eligible applicants include charitable organizations and public associations registered as legal entities in Ukraine with non-profit status (numeric identifiers 0032, 0034, 0036). Applicants must have proven experience working in Sumy region or be ready to expand their activities to the region. Up to 12 CSOs are expected to be supported.

An informational online session for interested applicants was held on October 17. The recording is available via this link on the Foundation’s YouTube channel.
