The final of EGAP Ideathon 2025 took place in Lviv — a competition where teams from across Ukraine presented their ideas to improve the SVOI and e-DEM platforms.
The goal of the initiative is to develop new digital solutions that make interaction between government and citizens more transparent, efficient, and user-friendly.

Nine teams — representing local communities, the IT sector, civil society, and business — presented projects aimed at advancing digital democracy and increasing civic participation in decision-making.

The jury evaluated the projects based on five criteria: relevance to community needs, human-centered design, innovation, practicality, and scalability.

“Our ideathon is a space where ideas for digital transformation in communities are born. It brings forward both new solutions for the SVOI and e-DEM platforms, as well as entirely new digital products that can be scaled across Ukraine,” — said Victor Liakh, president of East Europe Foundation.

A total of 57 teams and over 100 participants took part in EGAP Ideathon 2025. EGAP experts selected 19 teams with the most promising ideas for the semifinals. Following an intensive stage of presentations and discussions, nine teamsadvanced to the final, where the jury chose three winners.
The winning teams received cash prizes ranging from UAH 100,000 to 250,000.
EGAP Ideathon 2025 was organized within the framework of EGAP Program, implemented by East Europe Foundation with the support of Switzerland.
