At the invitation of the UN Global Compact Network Ukraine, Vira Nedzvedska, Vice President for Strategic Partnerships, joined the jury of the Climate Ambition Accelerator program, where she evaluated climate solutions alongside other experts and professionals. 

«Initiatives like this bring together forward-thinking leaders who are shaping a new type of economy – responsible, innovative, and future-oriented,» says Vira Nedzvedska. 

The Climate Ambition Accelerator is an international program implemented by the UN Global Compact to support businesses in adopting climate solutions. 

The initiative aimed to help companies set science-based targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and define a pathway to achieving net zero in line with the Paris Agreement and EU legislation. 

Participants gained access to global best practices, training, and peer learning opportunities to develop and implement their own climate strategies. The competition concluded with a pitching session, after which ETG, MHP, and DTEK Naftogaz were announced as the finalists. The winner was ETG company with a project to equip a space for veterans in the Dnipropetrovsk region with solar panels.
