East Europe Foundation congratulates two more winners of the second wave of the competition “Support for CSO Advocacy Campaigns on the Recovery of Territorial Communities and Preparation for Ukraine’s EU Accession,” implemented within the framework of the “Phoenix: The Power of Communities” project with the support of the European Union. We previously announced 10 winning organizations, and now two more are joining them.

The NGO “Resource-Analytical Center ‘Society and Environment'” is implementing a project aimed at promoting the integration of EU environmental and climate experience into the recovery and development processes of territorial communities. As part of the project, the organisation will develop analytical and educational-methodological materials on applying EU environmental and climate standards, and will conduct an information and awareness campaign to improve access to information about relevant EU requirements.

The NGO “VOX UKRAINE” will work on strengthening the role of CSOs in the cultural recovery processes of territorial communities, taking into account Ukraine’s European integration course. The project envisions fostering dialogue between CSOs and local self-government bodies and disseminating information about existing examples of cultural heritage restoration in communities. The team will create and promote multimedia content about Ukrainian practices for restoring cultural monuments and EU standards in the field of cultural heritage protection, and will organise dialogue events to develop joint solutions for cultural recovery.
