Coaching Approach: Methodological Recommendations

Over a six-month period, representatives of 18 employment centers learned the coaching approach and how to apply it in their work as part of the Inclusive Employment project.

The training covered the Lviv, Zakarpattia, Kyiv, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, and Cherkasy regions. A total of 38 specialists took part in the practical workshops and have already begun delivering internal training sessions for colleagues both within their own branches and across other branches.

One of the outcomes of the programme was a set of methodological recommendations on implementing the coaching approach, developed by experts from the School of Scaling Coaching: Iryna Zolotarevych, MCC ICF coach and psychologist, and Yuliia Katskevych, ACC ICF coach.“The coaching approach has established reference points for a new professional culture within employment centers. This document will help build effective interaction with clients and teams, explore their needs and goals,” says Olha Voitovych, PMP®, Lead Manager of the Civil Society Development and Support Cluster and Project Manager of the Inclusive Employment project.

The methodological recommendations provide step-by-step guidance on integrating the approach into internal processes and include practical reference points for engaging with clients and conducting coaching conversations. The document will be useful for employment center managers, career counsellors, and specialists responsible for staff development.

The Inclusive Employment Project is being implemented by East Europe Foundation within the framework of the Multi Donor Initiative Skills4Recovery, which is financed by the European Union, Germany, Poland, Estonia, Denmark, and is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Solidarity Fund PL (SFPL)
