Contest for the position of program assistant

East Europe Foundation is announcing a contest, within the Swiss-Ukrainian “E-Governance for Accountability and Participation Program” (EGAP), for the position of program assistant of the “Electronic Services” component.

We are looking to welcome to our friendly team from the e-services component, a person that will participate in organizing the work of the team, and will be able to take advantage of the chance to learn and grow professionally.

Employment: Full time

Work format: Hybrid (combined work from the office and remote)

Main tasks:

  • Provide daily support for the implementation of the e-services component of the EGAP Program, particularly monitoring adherence to project deadlines and preparation of reports, in cooperation with the team and the lead component.
  • Coordinate communication among all partners that are involved in the e-services component, including bodies of government, project teams and developers, and the step-by-step creation of a roadmap and implementation of the project according to the deadlines.
  • Receiving / sending / signing / scanning / safekeeping of documents etc.
  • Keep protocols of meetings with partners, including recording future steps, and forming lists of questions to be addressed further.
  • Planning the workday for the lead: managing the calendar, organizing meetings and preparing for them.
  • Completion of other related tasks as requested by management.

Necessary qualifications, experience, competencies:

  • Higher education not lower than first level (bachelor’s degree).
  • Fluency in the Ukrainian language.
  • Fluency in the English language not lower than B1 level (intermediate) (very desirable).
  • Familiarity of use of a PC with MS Office (including MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and Google Workspace tools.
  • Good business correspondence skills.
  • Good communicational skills.
  • Proper grammar.
  • Work experience in government bodies, the civil sector, and/or international organizations will be an advantage.
